Discord commands
Every Spawnix slash command, what it does, and what you need to use it.
Once the Spawnix bot is in your Discord server (see Discord setup), members can use slash commands to see and create guild content without leaving Discord. Type / in any channel of your connected server to see them.
Most answers are private: only the person who used the command sees them. Things that are meant for everyone, like a new poll or event, are posted in the channel where the command was used.
Who can use what
Each command needs a permission. People get permissions in two ways:
- Discord role grants, set by an owner or admin under What Discord roles can do in Discord setup: View, Take part, Polls, Events and Loot.
- Their Spawnix access, if they've signed in to Spawnix once with Discord. Members can view and take part; owners and admins can create everything; moderators can create polls and loot hauls.
If someone isn't allowed, the bot tells them privately and explains how an admin can change it.

Polls
/poll list
Shows the guild's open polls, with a check mark on the ones you've voted in, and a Vote in Spawnix button.
/poll create
Opens a form with two fields:
- Question (up to 200 characters).
- Options — one per line (2–10).
The poll is posted in the channel you're in, with voting buttons. Polls made this way allow one choice, show results after voting, and are open to everyone. They count toward your plan's open poll limit (see polls). For more settings, like rank limits or a closing time, create the poll in the dashboard instead.
/poll close
Shows a menu of polls you can close. Pick one and confirm. Results are final, but the poll can be reopened in Spawnix.
Events
/events list
Shows up to 10 upcoming events with their start time and location, and an Open calendar button. People who haven't linked a Spawnix account see public events only.
/events create
Opens a New event form:
- Title (up to 100 characters).
- Starts, as
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MMor with a time like8:30pm. It's filled in with tomorrow at 20:00. - Length, like
2h,90mor1h30m. The default is 2 hours; anything from 15 minutes to 7 days works. - Location (optional) and Description (optional).
Times are read in your guild's time zone (Settings, General), and Discord shows everyone the time in their own time zone. The event must start within the next two years.
Add the optional template option to start from one of your guild's event templates; start typing to pick one. The form is then pre-filled with the template's title, length, location and description.
Events created from Discord are always public, so they also show on your website. The event is posted in the channel you're in, with RSVP buttons.
/events cancel
Shows a menu of upcoming events you can cancel. Pick one and confirm. The event is removed from the calendar.
Loot (games with loot)
These commands work in games that have loot. See loot and items for how hauls work.
/loot claim
Shows open loot hauls. Pick one to claim items as Need or Want. Your guild's rarity claim rules still apply, so you can only claim rarities your rank allows.
/loot create
Opens a New loot haul form:
- Title (up to 120 characters), like "Saturday raid".
- Items, one per line: 2x Name | Category. The quantity and category are optional; for example
3x Iron OreorSword of Dawn | Weapons. Up to 200 items. - Notes (optional) (up to 1,000 characters).
The haul is posted in the channel you're in. Members claim with the Need and Want menus on the post.
/loot close
Shows a menu of open hauls you can close. Once claims are closed, leaders split the haul in Spawnix.
/item
Type /item and start typing a name; Discord suggests matches from your item database. The bot shows the item's rarity, value and stats privately. Click Share in channel to post it for everyone, or Open item database. If you have the Crafters add-on, the card also says who crafts it. See item database.
Characters (World of Warcraft and WoW Forever)
/characters
With no options, shows a summary of who plays what: how many mains and alts per role, and mains by class. Narrow it down with:
class, like Mage, role, like Healer, member, to see one person's characters.
Members add their characters on their profile (see profiles and characters). A member lookup only works for people who've signed in to Spawnix with Discord.
Add-on commands
These need the matching add-on, installed from the Add-ons tab of the marketplace (see add-ons). Without it, the bot says which add-on to install.
| Command | Options | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
/crafters |
item, profession |
Who crafts an item, or who has a profession. With no options, the guild's crafters by profession. See crafters |
/dkp |
member |
The raid points standings, or one member's points and attendance. See raid points |
/reserves |
raid |
A soft reserve list; the latest one if you leave raid empty. See soft reserves |
/attunement |
name |
Your own attunement progress, or who's ready for a named attunement. See attunements |
Limits
To stop floods, each person can create up to 5 polls, 10 events and 10 loot hauls per hour from Discord. Voting and claiming too fast gets a friendly "wait a moment" reply.
Tips and tricks

templateoption on/events createfor weekly raids. Pick the template, change the date, and you're done. - Settle quick questions with
/poll createduring voice chat; everyone votes with one click. - Use
/itemand Share in channel to settle "what does that drop do?" arguments in seconds. - Before a raid,
