Add-ons
What add-ons are, which ones fit your game, and how to install and remove them without losing anything.
Add-ons are extra dashboard tools you switch on from the marketplace: a fleet tracker, DKP, soft reserves and more. Each one adds a page to your sidebar once it's installed, and some add a website block or a Discord command too. Nothing shows up until you install it, so your dashboard stays as simple as your guild needs.
The add-ons
| Add-on | What it does | Games | Website block | Discord |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fleet | Members' hangars and the guild's own, added up | Every game with loot | Fleet | |
| Soft Reserves | Members reserve the drops they want before a raid | World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Forever | /reserves |
|
| Raid Points | DKP and attendance | World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Forever | /dkp |
|
| Crafters | Who has which profession and crafts what | World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Forever | /crafters |
|
| Attunements | Attunement checklists and who's ready | World of Warcraft: Forever | /attunement |
|
| Hardcore Memorial | A memorial for fallen Hardcore characters | World of Warcraft: Forever | Memorial |
Fleet, Soft Reserves and Crafters work from your item database, so they need a game with loot. The marketplace only lists the add-ons your game can use.
All six are free on every plan.
Install an add-on
Owners and admins install add-ons. Everyone else can browse.
- Open the Marketplace (under Forge in the sidebar, or press G then K).
- Click the Add-ons tab.
- Click Install on the one you want. You'll see "{name} is now in your dashboard menu."
- Click Open it on the card, or find the new page under Operations in the sidebar.
If Spawnix improves an add-on later, its card shows Update available and an Update button.
Remove an add-on
- In the Marketplace, on the Add-ons tab, click the trash icon on the add-on's card.
- Click Remove (or Keep to change your mind).
The tool leaves your menu and your website, and its Discord command stops answering. What members entered is kept, so if you install the add-on again later, everything comes back: hangars, points, reserves, checklists and all.
Who are "officers"?
Add-ons talk about officers: the people who run raids. In add-ons, officers are your owner, admins and moderators, the same people who manage loot. It's about dashboard roles, not in-game ranks, so a member with the Officer rank in game needs the moderator role to get officer tools. See roles and ranks.
What officers can do in each add-on:
| Add-on | Members | Officers |
|---|---|---|
| Fleet | Edit their own hangar | Owners and admins also edit the guild's hangar |
| Soft Reserves | Reserve for themselves | Create lists, link events, lock, reserve or remove for anyone |
| Raid Points | See standings and history | Take attendance, award and charge points, change settings |
| Crafters | List their own professions and crafts | Same as members |
| Attunements | Tick their own steps | Write checklists, tick steps for anyone |
| Hardcore Memorial | Add and edit their own characters | Add, edit and remove any entry |
Guests can't use add-ons.
Add-ons in Discord
Once your server is connected, four add-ons answer slash commands. The answers only show to the person who asked, so they're safe to use in any channel.
/reservesshows a soft reserve list (the latest, or pick one by name)./dkpshows the standings, or one member's points and attendance./craftersfinds who crafts an item or has a profession./attunementshows your own progress, or who's ready for one attunement.
They answer for anyone whose Discord roles can view guild content, and only while the add-on is installed. See Discord commands for the full list.
Tips and tricks
- Install only what you'll use. Each add-on adds a sidebar entry for everyone, and a tidy menu is easier for new members.
- Give your raid leaders the moderator role. That's what unlocks officer tools in add-ons, and it lets them run loot too.
- Trying an add-on is risk-free. Remove it if it doesn't fit; the data waits for you if you change your mind.
- For WoW raid teams, Soft Reserves and Raid Points work best together with events: create each raid as an event, and both tools pick it up.
- Fill in your item database before installing Fleet, Soft Reserves or Crafters. Members can only pick items that are in it.
