Multiple guilds
Use one Spawnix login for every guild you're in, switch between them, and learn how free guilds, trials and half-price extra guilds work.
One Spawnix account works for all your guilds. Join your friends' guild, run your own, and start a second one for another game, all with the same email and password. Each guild keeps its own world, and you hop between them from the sidebar.
Your dashboard calls a guild by your game's own word (Organization, Squadron, Corporation, Clan, Tribe and so on). This article just says "guild".
What's shared and what's per guild
| Shared across all your guilds | Separate in each guild |
|---|---|
| Your email and password | Your role (owner, admin, member and so on) and rank |
| Your Discord sign-in | Your renown, flair and achievements |
| Your email confirmation | Your profile, avatar and characters |
| Your username | |
| Your hangar, loot claims and event attendance |
Usernames only need to be unique inside a guild, so you can use the same name everywhere, or a different one in each.
Join another guild
You join a guild by invite. When someone sends you an invite link:
- Already signed in? Open the link and click Join with the guild's name. You join with the account you're using.
- Signed out? Click Already have an account? Sign in to join, sign in, and you're in.
Don't make a new account for each guild. One account is all you need. See inviting members.
Joining other guilds is always free, however many you're in.
Switch guilds
The guild card at the top of the sidebar shows the guild you're in. Click it to open Your guilds, then click the one you want.
If you're in two or more guilds, All my guilds opens Choose your guild, a full list with your role, each guild's plan and your username there.
Start another guild
- Click the guild card at the top of the sidebar.
- Click Start your own guild (if you don't own one yet) or Create another guild.
- Set it up as usual. See create your guild.
The menu tells you what the next guild will cost you: Your first guild is free, Try it free for 14 days, or Your next guild is half price.
How pricing works for several guilds
One free guild per account
The first guild you own can stay on the free Recruit plan for good. Any further guild you own needs a paid plan to open. Until you choose one, it's marked Needs a plan:
- as the owner, you're taken to Billing to pick a plan;
- members see that the guild is closed for now, and can switch to their other guilds.
Everything in a closed guild is kept until it opens.
A free trial for your second guild
Your second guild can start on a 14-day free trial of Commander or Admiral. The trial is once per account: after that, new guilds go straight to a paid plan. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
Extra guilds are half price
When you pay for more than one guild, your most expensive paid guild pays full price and every other paid guild you own is 50% off.
| Your guilds | What you pay each month |
|---|---|
| A Recruit guild and one Commander guild | Recruit is free; Commander is $10 (full price) |
| Two Commander guilds, billed monthly | $10 for one, $5 for the other |
| An Admiral and a Commander guild, billed monthly | Admiral $15 (full price), Commander $5 |
Free, complimentary and trial guilds don't count: they never make another guild half price. When two guilds cost the same, the older one pays full price.
When things change
Whenever one of your paid guilds is added, upgraded, downgraded, cancelled or ends, Spawnix works out again which one pays full price:
- a guild that goes up to full price is charged the difference for the rest of its billing period straight away;
- a guild that drops to half price gets the unused part credited on its next invoice.
You're shown this before you confirm a change or a cancel, and you get an email when it happens.
Billing also shows a Your guilds card when you own more than one, with each guild's plan and whether it's Full price, 50% off, on a Free trial, your Free guild, or Needs a plan. See plans and billing.
Leave a guild
You can leave any guild you don't own, as long as you're in at least one other.
- Switch to the guild you want to leave.
- Open Account & password from your profile menu at the top right.
- In the Leave card with your guild's name, click Leave guild, type the guild's name and confirm.
Your rank, renown and profile in that guild are deleted. Your account and your other guilds aren't touched. To come back, you'd need a new invite.
Owners can't leave their own guild, and you can't leave your only guild (delete your account instead). See leaving and deleting.
Tips and tricks
- Use the same username in every guild so friends recognize you wherever you post.
- Starting a guild for a new game? Your 14-day trial is a good time to try Commander's custom theme and premium marketplace items before you commit.
- Planning two paid guilds? Put the bigger plan on the guild you'll keep longest, since it's the one that pays full price.
- If you delete your free guild, a guild of yours that's waiting for a plan becomes your free guild and opens on Recruit.
- Officers in several guilds: check the guild card before you post an announcement or change a setting. It's easy to be in the wrong one.
